In September and December 2009, the dedicated fans of Craig Ferguson organized the Tweet-A-Thon to get him to trend on twitter, and to showcase his talent to a new series of fans. Now that Craig has his own twitter account (@CraigyFerg), he has proven that he can trend on his own. So, this time, we're going to try something different. We invite you to join us on April 5th, 2010 for a very special occasion. We will be using the hashtag, #lollipoptheater, on Twitter to get it onto the trending topics list. Our goal is to encourage more support of a wonderful organization, Lollipop Theater Network, for which Craig sits on the advisory board. From their website, I offer this information: Lollipop Theater Network is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to bringing the magic of movies currently in theaters to children confined to hospitals nationwide due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses. Our goal is to create a fun escape from the daily reality of the illnesses these children face and to offer them and their families a moment of normalcy in an otherwise stressful environment.
